Founder's Note
"Football has always been more than a sport to me—it has been my identity, my hope, and the path that changed my life. Growing up in the humble streets of Royapettah, I had nothing but a dream and a ball at my feet. Football became the bridge that carried me from those narrow lanes to national and international arenas, teaching me discipline, resilience, and the power of opportunity."
My journey through the beautiful game has taken me from district-level competitions at Madras University to representing Tamil Nadu at the U-21 level. I proudly led Madras University as captain and emerged as the top scorer at the South Zone and All India levels. My passion took me further into professional football, including a memorable year with Sporting de Goa. One of the greatest honours of my career was representing India in the Unity World Cup, playing against international teams from Brazil, Ghana, Nepal, Portugal, and Nigeria.
But behind every achievement was a simple truth: I reached these heights only because someone believed in me and football gave me a chance. Many talented children never get that chance. The Football Plus Foundation was built to change that.
I founded this organisation with a mission close to my heart—to support underprivileged children who carry big dreams but have limited means. I have walked the path they walk today. I understand their challenges, their struggles, and their hunger to succeed. Through structured training, mentorship, education support, and opportunities to compete at higher levels, we aim to transform raw potential into real possibilities.
